Yvonne Remz graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, New York in 1985. In 1994 Yvonne became a Certified Manual Therapist in Stanely Paris Technique. She has studied Integrative Manual Therapy techniques since 1998. Throughout her PT career Yvonne has gained knowledge in many aspects of manual therapy, including Racobado, Myofascial Release, Strain Counterstrain, Janet Travell, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Muscle Energy Technique, TMJ, NDT, Dry Needling, and Integrative Manual Therapy.
Yvonne has an extensive background in Orthopedics, Neurology, Pediatrics, TMJ, Headaches, Chronic Pain, Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions and Women’s Health treatment in both hospital and outpatient settings. She maintained her private practice in New Jersey from 1992 until 2002, when she moved to Maryland with her husband to raise their two children. She has also worked as an Athletic Trainer.
Yvonne’s current focus has been primarily on Integrative Manual Therapy. Her goals are to continue to gain skill and knowledge in treating with IMT techniques in order to better serve her patients. Yvonne sees patients locally in her outpatient setting in Dunkirk, MD.
